My second album is out now. The title is "Aburelu". It's been four years since the last release. Over the course of four years, I've seen a lot of changes in myself and the music I make as a result. As some of you may know, I've been making music as a band/unit, including some in the past, in addition to XTAL solo. The band with Jun Kamoda (Illreme) and Kenya Koarata ssssurroundddd has created contemporary pop, the band Jintana & Emeralds with Hitomitoi aims for Neo Doo-wop, and Traks Boys with k404 has created dance music based on our experience as a DJ. I think that this album is different from any of them as a result. If you listen to it, you'll understand immediately. First of all, I don't use any rhythm instruments like drums or percussion. The length of each song is also reduced to a maximum of three minutes. The direction of the music was also focused on how I could go outside of my intentions, and how I could go outside of them, which I hadn't done before. The title "Aburelu" means "overflowing". I aimed for music that would overflow to the outside of the demarcated grid. I hope you enjoy this new endeavor.
